At times we want to mark off that we are not available to shoot or see clients, whether it be that we have a doctor appointment, meeting at our child's school, family birthdays or events, vacations, etc..... or maybe you are just getting together with a friend for lunch and want to block out the afternoon!
Creating an unavailable record is easy!
First click on the Calendar link at the top of your Táve. It does not matter what date you are currently on as you will be able to set the correct dates (and times) if necessary from the New Event screen. Once you're in the calendar, click on New Event in the top right, it will highlight blue when you mouse over.

This is the New Event screen. You should give your event a name, select the type of event it is (meeting, call, unavailable in general, etc), date/time, can add attendees if you are doing a company function, etc. Táve will show you in the agenda section if there is anything else happening on that date, just in case.
Here I have created an unavailable time for my birthday! I don't shoot on my birthday :)

This is how it looks on the calendar after I input it.

BUT WAIT! I have decided to take a vacation for my birthday. Not really, but for the sake of this tutorial, let's pretend I'm jetting off to somewhere awesome for a few days to celebrate with my husband! :)
I clicked on the entry I just added and edited it to change the name to My Birthday Vacation and also made it last a few days! My Táve account shows me there is nothing else on my calendar for those days, so I'm good to go!

Here is what my calendar looks like now:

How exciting!! Now, go schedule some vacation time!

Hi,
My unavailable time doesn't show in any of my Tave google calendars.
Nancy
Yeah. I've spent two hours trying to subscribe to T3.0 Cal though Google and I just can't get it to work. Am I doing something wrong?
Nothing wrong. In Google policies it says they will update 2 times a day. Check tomorrow and it will be there ;-)
Karen is there a way to set a reminder to trigger for event in the calendar. I'm thinking specifically so that a reminder goes off on my iPhone or iPad once I've subscribed to the calendar.
