Client Access is a lot easier for your client to use and understand in Táve 3.0.
For new clients who you are ready to book, you can check out our tutorial on creating a proposal by clicking here. That tutorial goes step-by-step through each individual screen, teaching how you to create your proposals, sending to the client, and how the client signs a contract and pays online.
The old Client Access links are no more, and if a client tries to access them, they will redirect to your contact form with a message stating that they need to get the new link from the studio. If you use custom domains and reuse the same domain as you did in T2 for Client Access, the users won't receive the message, but they will still go to that brand's default contact form. You must have a default brand and default contact form for that brand for this redirect to work.
The new Client Access process allows your client to focus only on the order at hand, without viewing their previous history OR any orders that family members had placed (very common with weddings, and could be quite confusing for the client to see additional orders that they had not placed themselves).
Client Access links are now unique to the particular proposal, so you will need to resend links to clients who have an outstanding balance.
Here is an easy guide to finding your open invoices and getting your clients to pay them.
On the "Home" page, find the Open Invoices module to see all of your open invoices and the dates they are due. T3 will notify you if your client hasn't paid you yet (or if the payment was never recorded) with a red warning stating how many days overdue it is, as you'll see below.

First, highlight the client's name (in this case, Maya Ziemkowski has been highlighted - you can tell because the underline activates under the name and the money and email icons show up).
If they have already paid you by check or through another payment method not supported by Táve, you may record the payment manually by using the brown money icon with a plus sign, and entering in the details on the next screen. Save when you are done, and the payment will be recorded. See the example below:

On the other hand, if you still need the Client to pay you, you can click the white envelope icon with the blue arrow to send them a link to their online payment portal. You will be taken to the Compose Mail screen and have the option to modify any of the text in the email to suit your purposes. The "start direct link" and "end direct link" placeholders wrap around the text that they will click on to access their invoice online, when they receive the email. When you're ready to send it to your client, click the Send button.

This is what the email looks like when the client receives it. Note that I sent this to myself, so reading the names looks a little funny ;)

When they click the "pay this invoice online" link, they will see the following and can print a copy of their invoice for their records.

It is a very streamlined process that should not cause any confusion or delay in receiving payments from your clients!

What if I don't want to email them through Tave. Where can I find the direct link to send to them?
When you create a proposal or go to an invoice via a job, you can grab the URL via the little box with an arrow (mouseover says View the Link). it's the one right before the envelope.
So it says in this article that when a client tries to get to the client access...they'd come to my brand's default contact form. The contact form fills in a new lead entry. Now all my clients are contacting me and becoming new leads...What's that all about? How can I just have clients come to a place where they can message me without having to fill out their dates and contact info, becoming a lead in the process?
